Responsible holidays
To guarantee quality and be a committed sustainable development actor.
VVF Villages, resolutely green!
Sustainable development is an integral part of the quality initiative that VVF Villages has undertaken since 2006.
This initiative applies, first of all, in the villages that host our guests, and has been extended to the company as a whole. By focusing on various production and operation methods, this initiative also enables us to rethink and optimise the company’s overall performance, at both the human and financial level.
The main points of this initiative are:
- Taking into account “environmental factors” during renovations of our holiday rentals (energy conservation, water management, kitchens set up for waste sorting, etc.).
- Informing guests and making them aware of simple and socially-responsible environmentally-friendly actions (waste sorting, composting, energy conservation, battery collection sites, etc.).
- Adopting original “eco-action” initiatives at our holiday rentals. For example, using recycled materials for children’s club activities. In maintaining green spaces, opting for the native plants of each region, plus installing composters, avoiding the use of herbicides and using thermal weeders instead.
- Lastly, joining forces with local partners and service providers to set up a series of joint actions focused primarily on environmental preservation.
